Guaranteed Watertight Engineering Traditional plastic gland boxes are bulky, prone to UV cracking, and rely on messy silicone sealants that fail over time. The Scanstrut DS-H10 relies entirely on mechanical sealing. It features a tapered internal rubber bung that compresses tightly around the cable, paired with a closed-cell, waterproof base gasket.
Tested and rated to both IPX6 and IPX7 (and IP68 compliant), it is guaranteed to withstand high-pressure washdowns, driving rain, and even temporary submersion without a single drop of water ingress.
Marine-Grade Durability Built to survive the harshest outdoor conditions, the outer dome-shaped housing is constructed from high-impact, 30% glass-filled nylon. This material is completely UV-stabilized, meaning it will not warp, fade, or become brittle from constant sun exposure. All provided installation hardware is made from marine-grade 316 stainless steel to ensure rust-free performance for life.

Installation Note: To ensure a flawless fit, use the provided drilling template to mark your mounting holes. Clean the roof or bulkhead surface thoroughly before applying the self-adhesive foam base gasket. Hand-tighten the stainless steel screws using a manual screwdriver to engage the captive nuts smoothly and ensure uniform pressure across the waterproof seal.

The circular light you see below is a 4-inch LED work light producing 2,150 lumens at 27 watts with 9 Epistar LEDs. It can be fitted to a wide range of commercial and domestic vehicles.
